Core Technology’s Crime Analysis tools find those trends through our crime information database and crime analysis client.

The Crime Analysis Client analyzes data from a single crime information database or from a virtual data warehouse. A crime analyst can analyze patterns for a certain crime class and for a specific time frame by using the crime analysis tool. The user initiates the inquiry and indicates the scope, such as; a single agency’s crime information database, a regional virtual data warehouse, or the entire virtual data warehouse for a state.

Core Technology’s Crime Information Database (CID) is a database that is used to provide a standard approach to crime analysis and mapping.  A CID is generated and stored at the agency level using data from an agency’s existing record management system.  The data is loaded into the CID on a periodic basis and transformed into a standardized format, based on industry standards.
